MYSTERY IN BRASS

“Misterio” is a contemporary interpretation of the birth of Jesus, handcrafted in gold-plated brass and also in sterling silver. The work consists of three pieces: Saint Joseph, the Virgin Mary, and the infant Jesus, each with a clearly sculptural character, where volume and presence speak beyond literal detail.

The simple and solid forms create a dialogue between space, light, and materiality, inviting the viewer to contemplate the scene from multiple perspectives. More than a traditional representation, the piece proposes a meditation on the essence of the nativity, where each figure becomes presence, silence, and contained strength.

A work where tradition meets contemporary interpretation, and gold-plated brass becomes a sculptural language, conveying solemnity and closeness at the same time.
