A VOLAR" BROOCH
The “Broche a Volar” (Flying Brooch) emerges as a miniature story about family and learning. Made in gold-plated brass and enamel, the piece depicts a family of birds, with the mother teaching her chicks to fly. Among them, one takes longer to learn: the black sheep, a symbol of individual differences and the effort required to grow.
Every line of enamel and every brass volume narrate movement, protection, and guidance. The piece is an allegory of diversity, patience, and teaching, reminding us that each family member progresses at their own pace, and that differences are part of the harmony.
More than a brooch, it is a small wearable story, a tribute to family life and the flight of personal experience.
